About the Role
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of products throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating inventory and replenishment activities, supporting purchasing initiatives, and working closely with internal teams to maintain service levels while driving continuous improvement.
This position requires someone who can effectively balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, proactively identify supply risks, and implement solutions that support business objectives.
Working collaboratively with Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Finance, suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers, you will help ensure products are delivered on time, inventory is optimized, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure product availability and supply continuity.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.
- Monitoring inventory levels and implementing inventory planning strategies to reduce stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinating purchasing and replenishment activities to support production and customer demand.
- Collaborating with Procurement to improve supplier performance and resolve supply issues.
- Supporting new product launches by coordinating inventory readiness and supplier timelines.
- Working closely with Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Quality teams to align supply chain activities with business priorities.
- Analyzing demand trends, inventory performance, and service levels to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Managing logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely product delivery.
- Identifying potential supply chain risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruption.
- Preparing reports and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5–8 years of progressive Supply Chain experience, preferably within the food, food service, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Distribution, Logistics, and Supplier Relationship Management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service levels in a dynamic environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar enterprise platforms.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies and optimize supply chain processes.
