Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is seeking an experienced Category Manager, Food & Packaging to lead category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and supply continuity.

This role will manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, negotiations, contracts, supplier performance, pricing, and risk mitigation. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify opportunities, improve commercial outcomes, and deliver measurable value across assigned categories.

Key Requirements:

• 5–7 years of procurement or category management experience.
• Strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management expertise.
• Experience developing and executing category strategies.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership or mentoring experience; people management is an asset.
• Experience in food service, food manufacturing, or consumer goods is preferred.
• Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• SCMP/SCMA designation is an asset.
