We are  partnering with a consumer goods organization in the regulated manufacturing space that is looking to add a Packaging Category Specialist to their Procurement & Strategic Sourcing team in Toronto.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of innovation, sourcing, and commercialization. You’ll support packaging from early concept and creative ideation through supplier engagement, development, testing, and launch, while working closely with Commercial, R&D, Operations, Quality, and external partners to bring scalable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions to market.

Ideal background:

• 5+ years in packaging development, packaging engineering, or related experience within a regulated environment (CPG, food, pharma, cosmetics, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with suppliers, sampling, trials, and production validation
• Strong understanding of packaging materials, formats, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to translate creative concepts into practical, operational solutions
